Cookie and Tracker Policy

Last updated: 02/08/2026

This page explains which cookies and trackers Vitality Archetype uses, what they are for, and how you can change your choices at any time. It complements our Privacy Policy.

1. What is a cookie or tracker?

A cookie is a small file stored on your device when you visit us. We also use other local storage technologies (such as your browser's localStorage) that serve similar purposes. On this page, the word "tracker" refers to all of these technologies.

Some trackers are essential to how the app works and do not require your consent. Others are only used with your consent.

2. The trackers we use

a) Strictly necessary trackers (no consent required)

These are essential to the service and are exempt from consent.

b) Anonymous audience measurement (no consent required)

We use Plausible to measure site traffic in aggregate (number of visits, pages viewed). This tool is cookieless and does not identify visitors. It runs in a configuration that meets the consent-exemption conditions set by regulators: anonymous measurement, no cross-site tracking, no data sharing. No personal data is stored on your device for this purpose.

c) Product usage analytics (with your consent)

We use PostHog to understand how the app is used and to improve it. This tool sets trackers and is enabled only if you consent via the banner. The option is off by default. If you decline, none of these trackers are set.

d) Advertising cookies (with your consent)

If you accept the Advertising purpose, we set Meta Pixel cookies (_fbp, _fbc, 90-day lifetime). They let us measure how our ads perform on Facebook and Instagram, and see how many people who arrive from an ad take the test or create an account. The data is sent to Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, acting as joint controller for this purpose, and may be transferred to the United States under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. No advertising cookie is set without your prior consent, and you can withdraw it at any time through the "Cookie settings" button, at the bottom of the home page and in Settings, under About.

3. Managing your choices

You can accept, decline, or change your choices at any time through the "Cookie settings" button, at the bottom of the home page and in Settings, under About. Declining is as easy as accepting and has no effect on your access to the service.

You can also configure your browser to block or delete trackers. This may affect some features.

We ask for your consent again at least every 6 months.

4. Where your data is processed

The site hosting and the database holding your account and training data are located in the European Union (Ireland). One exception: if you accept the Advertising purpose, the Meta Pixel data described in section d) is sent to Meta and may be transferred to the United States. For more on the processing, the controllers, and your rights, see our Privacy Policy.

5. Changes to this policy

We may update this page. If a change is significant, we will inform you and, where required, ask for your consent again.

6. Controller and contact

Data controller: OCEALIA SARL, 608 Route de Robion, 84300 Cavaillon, France (RCS Avignon 510 742 406). Questions: hello@vitalityarchetype.com.

For the Advertising purpose only, OCEALIA and Meta Platforms Ireland Limited act as joint controllers for the data collected by the Meta Pixel. You may exercise your rights with either party.
